2025, time-based installation, clay, metal, wood, saltwater, separating funnel

Water, salt, and earth encounter each other in the installation, entering into a process of erosion that visitors can witness. In the chimney room of the gallery space, the passage of time becomes visible through  the falling of drops and the formation of  salt crystals. Slowly, the object transforms as it is penetrated and ultimately coated by another material. As the water evaporates, a fine, fragile salt layer forms a « glaze » beyond ceramic traditions. The unfolding of the piece opens up spaces for reflection on craft, origin, injury, and transformation.
